The work is from my “Of the desert” series which was based on time spent at an artist residency at Curtin Springs Station in the Northern Territory. It depicts a broken windmill returning to the earth from whence it came… The finalist exhibition depicting the works of 40 finalists will be on show from 8th – 28th May 2021 at Brisbane Institute of Art, Metcalf Gallery, 41 Grafton Street, Windsor.
